COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS

This program provides offenders of nonviolent crimes referred by the Monroe County Department of Probation with diversions from commitment to the County Jail. It's more cost-effective than incarceration and helps offenders make positive contributions in the future.

WHAT THIS PROGRAM DOES

  • Gives court-ordered clients opportunities to complete community service hours

  • Provides clients with workforce development, substance abuse programs, and financial literacy programs
