Elevating women is at the core of our focus within the community. We believe that when you educate a woman, you educate a nation. Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty and creating lasting change for families and communities. At Agape, we have been intentional about creating opportunities for women that provide access to employment, healthcare, education, and essential resources. By investing in women, we are not only empowering individuals—we are strengthening families, building resilient communities, and creating pathways toward a more sustainable and prosperous future. Our commitment is to ensure that women have the resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive, lead, and become catalysts for positive change in their communities.

2026 IMPACT

At Agape Haven of Abundance, women make up 75% of the organization's employees, 75% of its leadership, and 90% of the seats on its board. Its Workforce Development and Restorative Initiative creates jobs, internships, and community service opportunities for women of color, New Americans, young adults, teens, college students, justice-involved, and individuals with developmental disabilities. 75% of participants identify as female, and 75% of them over the past 7 years have graduated from high school, enrolled in postsecondary education, or secured employment.
